Our IVF Laboratory

This is the heart of the centre where the embryos are made and grown. The IVF laboratory is under very tight surveillance as all entries are restricted to embryologists only. We equip our IVF laboratory with the latest equipment such as tri-gas incubators for culture, laser technology for assisted hatching and embryo biopsy, oocyte imaging system for analysis of egg and embryo and vitrification. Most prominently, our optimal culture conditions coupled with highly efficient air purification system have brought us years of remarkable and consistent success rates.

Our Success Rates

We are proud to announce that our pregnancy success rates are comparable to the best centres in Europe and USA. Our most current results show that if you have had an embryo transfer procedure and you are younger than 40 years old, you have a 49% chance of getting pregnant with a 45% chance of having a baby (babies). As such from 2006 to 2009, our centre had a total number of 425 healthy IVF babies were born out of 852 embryo transfer procedures performed. A remarkable feat indeed!

The Gamma Knife Centre specialises in the treatment of Brain Tumours, Arteriovenous Malformations and other brain abnormalities. It features a highly-skilled and multi-disciplinary team of neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, physicists, radiotherapists and nurses dedicated to the highest clinical quality and excellent patient care.

The Gamma Knife is recognised internationally as one of the most advanced radiosurgical treatment modalities for deep-seated brain tumours and other lesions that cannot be removed safely using conventional brain surgery. In Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, computer-planned finely collimated gamma-rays are precisely focused onto an intracranial target to ablate, without the need for open surgery. It can be an alternative or adjunct to conventional open surgery. Since 1995, more that 2,000 patients with clinical conditions such as brain metastases, arteriovenous malformations, acoustic neuromas, meningiomas and trigeminal neuralgia have been treated with the Gamma Knife in Singapore.
