New Hospital at Novena : Overview

The new hospital at Novena in Singapore will set new benchmarks for quality healthcare to reinforce Singapore’s reputation for delivering world-class medical services to both its citizens and foreign patients. Adopting global best-practice standards for quality patient care as well as clinical outcomes, the new hospital will meet the continuing demand for high quality yet affordable healthcare in Singapore and around the world.

 

THE CONCEPT

The new hospital at Novena will be technologically advanced with innovative features across all business functions, including a central physician order entry system to ensure more efficient, higher quality healthcare. It will feature state-of-the-art medical technologies to improve clinical outcomes, improve access and accuracy in patient records and minimise the risk of human error in medical treatment.

Other user-friendly facilities and features include aerial gardens, over 200 premier physician suites, outpatient specialty centres, and integrated photovoltaic green technology. Housekeeping and room service will also be made available, with these services being outsourced to hospitality service providers.

THE DESIGN

The modern 350-suite hospital, designed by Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum (HOK), will be strategically located in Novena within a cluster of medical services and institutions.
