Mount Elizabeth Behavioural Health Services is a private behavioural and psychological health service that operates within Mount Elizabeth Hospital's acute care infrastructure. Established since 1986, Mount Elizabeth Behavioural Health Services provides professional counselling and psychotherapeutic services, psychological assessments and inpatient acute psychiatric care.
Fitted with comfortable bedded rooms, a recreation room, consultation rooms, and an art therapy room, our inpatient ward provides a warm and therapeutic environment where clients feel safe and secure as they embark on their journey of recovery. It is viewed as a place of respite from life stressors. The ward is specially designed to protect clients in the event of a crisis or extreme behavioural expressions.

Intensive Inpatient Treatment
Mount Elizabeth Behavioural Health Services adopts a customised Treatment Team approach for our clients. Our multidisciplinary team will work closely with the client to develop an individualised and comprehensive treatment plan from inpatient stay to after-discharge programme.
Structured Inpatient Care includes:
- Individual Therapy helps clients to gain a better perspective on their problems and develop alternative solutions.
- Family Therapy provides psychoeducation for the family and facilitates the role of family support in the client's recovery.
- Art and Activity Therapy helps clients develop self-awareness, learn problem-solving techniques and in turn enhance self-esteem and self-efficacy.

Psychological Assessments are conducted by our professional psychologists and aims to identify psychological, emotional, conduct, behavioural or learning issues. Psychological tests are tools that help you to better understand your abilities, personality, cognitive, and emotional functioning and make positive life changes.
The range of psychological assessments we provide include:
- Intelligence tests measure your level of intelligence i.e. your basic ability to understand the world around you, assimilate its functioning apply this knowledge to enhance the quality of your life.
- Neuropsychological tests are used to assess impairment in psychological functions due to injury or illness that can cause brain damage.
