Mr Malvinder Mohan Singh

Chairman

Mr Malvinder Mohan Singh is the Chairman of Parkway Holdings Limited, and Group Chairman of Fortis Healthcare Limited. He graduated in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and holds an MBA degree from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, U.S.A. Previously, Mr Malvinder Mohan Singh was the Chairman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited (“RLL”). Recently, Mr Singh spearheaded the sale of approximately 64% of the equity share capital of RLL to Daiichi Sankyo Company Limited. He is also the chairman of Religare Enterprises Limited. Mr Singh is a member of the Young Global Leaders Forum, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. He is also a member of the board of visitors at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University and serves on the board of the INSEAD Global India Council. As a member of the Board of Trade, constituted by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, Mr Singh advises the Government on issues relating to India’s foreign trade policy. Mr Singh is a member of the Board of the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations.

Lim Cheok Peng is the Executive Vice Chairman of Parkway Holdings Limited and he sits on the Executive Committee. Cheok Peng has been steering the Group's healthcare efforts since 1987. He is a cardiologist by profession.

Mr Richard Seow Yung Liang

Mr Richard Seow Yung Liang

Non-executive Vice Chairman

Richard Seow was previously the Chairman of the Board of Parkway Holdings Limited and the Executive Committee, from July 2005 to March 2010. A former investment banker with over 16 years of industry experience, he was previously with Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and JP Morgan. Richard is Chairman of the Anglo-Chinese School Board of Governors, Chairman of Republic Polytechnic, Singapore, and member of the Singapore Sports Council.

Dr Tan See Leng

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Dr Tan See Leng, 45, was appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on 16 April 2010 and leads all operational activities within the Parkway Group. Dr Tan See Leng has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Dr Tan first joined Parkway in September 2004 as Chief Operating Officer of Mount Elizabeth Hospital. He was subsequently appointed Senior Vice President, International Operations in November 2006 and was later seconded to Pantai Holdings Berhad as Chief Executive Officer of the Hospitals Division, a position he held till February 2008. Prior to joining Parkway, Dr Tan had served as Medical Director and Consultant to various government and private medical groups. Between 1992 and 2002, he successfully established the Healthway Medical Group. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) as well as a Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) from the National University of Singapore. In addition, Dr Tan has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago GSB.

Mr Shivinder Mohan Singh

Non-executive Director

Shivinder is a young entrepreneur who aims to change the way Healthcare is delivered in the world. He is a Non-executive Director of Parkway Holdings Limited and the Managing Director of Fortis Healthcare Limited. He is also one of the principal promoters and Director on the boards of Religare Enterprises Limited, Super Religare Laboratories Limited and Fortis Clinical Research Limited. Shivinder was, till recently, one of the key promoters of Ranbaxy Laboratories and served as Director on the Board of the pharma major. He played a strategic role in the sale of Ranbaxy, thereby taking the company to the next level and creating significant long term value for all stakeholders.

An alumnus of Doon School and an Honours Graduate in Mathematics from St. Stephens College, Delhi, Shivinder has done his MBA with specialization in health sector management from the Duke University Business School, USA.

Shivinder’s significant contribution in Indian Healthcare is widely acknowledged. His strategy for Fortis and its execution has been recognized by Harvard Business School in the form of a case study. Shivinder has been playing an important and active role in shaping the private healthcare space in India. He is the Chairperson of Health Services Committee of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Board member of Indo British Partnership Network (IBPN), Board Member of National Accreditation Board for Hospital and Healthcare Providers (NABH) and chair of the healthcare committee of UKTI (UK Trade & Investment). He is also on the National Board of Advisors of AIESEC, a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education.

Even though healthcare is a passion for Shivinder, his dream is to see a vibrant India in his lifetime. This motivates him to get involved in various activities directed towards bringing about positive social change in our country and engaging with different aspects of Building India. Shivinder is one of the trustees of an NGO ‘Joining Hands’.

In addition to this, Shivinder is also keenly involved in various CSR initiatives focused on the Girl Child, HIV education, providing quality healthcare to Rural India to name a few.

Shivinder is on the board of visitors of Fuqua School of Business; Duke University, U.S. and a fellow of Aspens India Leadership Initiative. He is also a Director of Step by Step school.

Shivinder lives with his wife and four sons in New Delhi and likes sports like football and hockey, watching movies and building lasting relationships!

Mr Sunil Godhwani

Mr Sunil Godhwani, a Non-Executive Director for both Parkway Holdings Limited and Fortis Healthcare Limited, graduated in Chemical Engineering and has a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Finance from the Polytechnic Institute of New York. He has over 20 years of experience in various businesses. He is also the Chairman and Managing Director of Religare Enterprises Limited and the Chairman and Managing Director of Religare Securities Limited.

Mr Balinder Dhillon

Non-executive Director

Mr Balinder Singh Dhillon, a Non-Executive Director of Parkway Holdings Limited and a Non-Executive, Independent Director of Fortis Healthcare Limited, graduated from the Punjab University and is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Bar Council of India. He holds a Master of Laws degree from McGill University, Canada. As a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, he completed his accreditation under a Certificate of Qualification equivalent to a Graduate of Law through the Law Faculty, University of Toronto, Canada. Having worked with corporate houses such as Hindustan Unilever Limited and INTRIA Items Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CIBC Bank, Canada, he has approximately 16 years of experience in corporate laws, governance, strategic planning and implementation.

Mr Chang See Hiang

Chang See Hiang sits on various committees of Parkway Holdings Limited. An Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, he is the Senior Partner of his own law firm, M/s Chang See Hiang & Partners. A Director of Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited, MCL Land Limited, Yeo Hiap Seng Limited, and STT Communications Ltd, he is also the Honorary Secretary and a member of the Management Committee of the Singapore Turf Club.

Ho Kian Guan has been a director of Parkway Holdings Limited since 1985. Kian Guan is the Executive Chairman of the Keck Seng Group of Companies, which include the publicly listed Keck Seng (Malaysia) Berhad and Keck Seng Investments (Hong Kong) Limited. The principal activities of the Keck Seng Group are palm oil cultivation/manufacturing, real estate development, and hotel/resort investments. He also serves on the Board of Shangri-La Asia Limited, a Company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Mr Ganen Sarvananthan

Ganen Sarvananthan is Executive Director of Investments at Khazanah Nasional Berhad. Ganen Sarvananthan was previously the Director of the Investment Banking department at UBS Investment Bank, Hong Kong. He is a Director of Pantai Holdings Berhad, Pantai Medical Centre Sdn Bhd and Pantai Irama Ventures Sdn Bhd, among other organizations. Dato’ Mohammed Azlan bin Hashim

Non-executive Director

Azlan is currently Director and Chairman of Pantai Holdings Bhd and Chairman of Aseana Properties Limited, Westcomb Financial Group Limited and Asiasons Capital Limited (formerly known as Integra2000 Ltd).

In Malaysia, Azlan is a board member of various government and non-government related organisations including Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Labuan Offshore Financial Services Authority, member of Employees Provident Fund Investment Panel and Chairman of Universiti Darul Iman Malaysia.

Azlan also serves as Chairman of several public listed entities, listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad including D&O Ventures Berhad and SILK Holdings Berhad. He is also a director of Scomi Group Bhd. He has extensive experience working in the corporate sector, including financial services and investments. Among others, he has served as Chief Executive, Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad, Group Managing Director, Amanah Capital Malaysia Berhad and Executive Chairman, Bursa Malaysia Berhad (formerly known as Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange) Group.

Azlan holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University, Melbourne and qualified as a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia.
